If I've counted correctly, Germans can/could watch Dinner for One (The 90th Birthday) 13 times today on different TV channels, between 16:00 and 23:40, and also six times in different German dialects, including Schwiizerdütsch.
Very strange folks, the Germans. Well, judge for yourself.

How the war against Ukraine can immediately be ended.

With Putin, his North Korean mate, Lavrov, Medvedev, Xi and co. on the front line, the war against Ukraine would be over immediately. Because those miserable human beings would be scared for their miserable lives.

Ah, 4th October 2024! Exactly 442 years after in 1582 the Gregorian calendar of Pope Gregory XIII was introduced in Catholic countries, which is why the 4th was immediately followed by the 15th of October.
No 5th, no 14th of October.
13th of October? So when was I born?

Turner 181 years ago but anticipated a humble villager sitting in a world full of war & terror, severely emptied of love and empathy; a world of hatred, extreme stupidity, selfishness and I! I! I!
Knowing that he would not be able to change everything this humble villager would not write the Book of any Genesis but just write down a tiny dream:
All machos of planet Earth, including all Taliban and the King of Saudi Arabia, his complete entourage including judges and clergy being sent from the desert into devils' kitchen where they are getting preferential treatment: Heaviest swearboarding which would not end before these ... hm ... these "gentlemen" would promise with immediate effect to veil their faces up til infinity and silently walk four steps behind their wives whilst lugging the shopping bags.

After her tinopeners new roof  had been finished today,
Poesy obviously wanted to inspect
the whole thing from across the road
and suddenly found herself sitting on our roof.

Oh horror! And now how to get down again?

So daughter climbed into the attic, opened the hatch,
hung out a blanket ...

... and tongue snapping lured the cat to safety .
Phew! What excitement ;-)
