Oh yes, Claudia, this very first step. :) Thank you so much for your good wish. As hopefully is to be seen, I am determined to not follow in anyone's footsteps. :)
Jams, I knew there was something behind/within your question, Jams, but I did not know what it was. :) Well, as we did not have any visitors so far, the one(s) bringing good future tomorrow will be our daughter and her astro-physicist returning from Denmark. Thank you for teaching me a new 'idiom'.
Claudia, :) As you mention it: As a boy playing football, everybody would claim to be either Pele, Eusebio, Garrincha, Puskas, Gento, Jaschin, di Stefano, Bobby Charlton etc. etc. - oh! and those fierce discussions when two or three boys claimed to be one of these 'heros' :) -; only little Sean insisted on being Sean J. :)
CherryPie, the footsteps are not 'hard to follow'; I do agree, though, that the paths they are marking sometimes are wondrous ... You are lovely. :)
A lovely grey and ghostly image. I'm late with this, but happy new year, Sean. I hope that 2010 is a peaceful, prosperous, productive, and pleasantly surprising one for you, your readers, and your fellow Seanhengians!
Ah so who was first foot then Sean?
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Jams. The right one it was, by all means. :)
ReplyDeleteThe first one is the hardest. How...When...Where...Then all steps easily follow. No way back. Happy trails, Sean.:)

Ah Sean "First foot" is the first person to visit a house at New Year. A bringer of good fortune!
ReplyDeleteSean - RE: following anyone's footsteps. I doubt you ever did. I doubt you ever will.:)
ReplyDeleteVery hard footsteps to follow :-)
