Unforgotten tree

The tree is dead.
But it was alive back then.

    1. The landscape, the stonewalls and this lonesome eyecatcher. When I returned a few years later "my friend, the tree" had disappeared.

  4. We've lost too many around here, and it is sad. They were a wonderful place for our children to play when they were young.

  5. Amazingly some trees that are seemingly dead sprout new shouts and leaves at the bottom of the tree trunk.
