This tulip and I
enjoying the last sun-beams;
her blossom, my eye.

April 23rd, 2016

On the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's and Cervantes' death
in Seanhenge the cherry-tree is blooming,
the potatoes have been planted,
a pair of phoenicurus has again chosen the balcony
to bring up their nestlings,
and I do still enjoy being busy
with blogging
as little as possible.

You need to have a good boring life
in which nothing much happens
except what's going on in your head.

243

It's the two hundred and forty-third birthday
of one of my great-great-great-grandmothers
and one of our granddaughter's
great-great-great-great-great-grandmothers.
