Chopin's Nocturnes

Frédéric Chopin (22 February 1810 – 17 October 1849)

Maurizio Pollini

  1. Enthralling! Thank you Sean. :)

I read such an irritating article on The Guardian, about Pollini's recent concert. I had to comment although I was not there to hear him. Some music critics can be so overbearing and patronising.

    1. I thought you'd enjoy this on the master's 203rd, Claude.

As for Andrew Clements: It is not necessary for certain critics to understand things in order to argue about them. :)

    2. I felt Clements was very rude when he wrote, "Age is beginning to infiltrate some aspects of Pollini's playing."

Yes! That music is sublime, Sean. First time I can hear all the Nocturnes in one session.

  2. Music magnificent. Overlaying of that giant ear on the small head amusing.
