  1. Ah Bertrand... reminds me I have never been able to understand the point of all that is called "philosophy", even though Cambridge University made me a Doctor of it, strangely, for studying chemistry, strangely; but mathematics, of course, is wondrous. I think some redefining of definitions is required. Sorry, I ramble. unwantedly, obviously. What a funny old chap he was.

    1. Hm, philosophy. I reckon there are – alone in Germany – several thousand people studying "philosophy". I wonder though, where are the philosophers.
      As for Bertrand: Agreed.
As for your "ramblings": They are enriching my life.

    3. Yes. Some fine problems / conundrums kept me from blogging.

    4. Uff, as for your fear: Now I am answering your comment there are four days left until the second anniversary of Jams O'Donnell's /Shaun's death. Now I see: least Although having some "computer-problems" I could at least have sent a sign of life. Sorry.
I think I shall prepare some words and ask our daughter to post them as soon as what obviously one day will happen has happened.

    6. 'tis an issue Seanso, is it not? When a blogger "goes", or does not. And I read and see people think they have found and dug up the remains of Cervantes now. See? He could have told me he was gone, before it became obvious...

    7. Well if my, now much diminished, blog is still live in 2099, I will be dead (obviously).

      Unless...

      Hmm
