Sometimes when contemplating all the war and misery, terror and hypocrisy disturbs me too much I remind myself there are probably billions of other worlds out there with gazillions of other horrors going on, and I surely cannot be distressed about all that too... so why does knowing that the real horrors in the universe are probably much multiplied than just those down here make me feel better? Strange? Discuss? Now I am off to sleep while the owls eat the mice and the cats torture the birds and the lions eat the deer and the humans kill and rape and maim. Sweet dreams.
I think I am giving up blog commenting, everywhere, not just in the light of this latest issue here. I appear to be incapable of communicating without causing misinterpretation. Either that or people so often read words and decide too quickly what they may mean without pondering the possibilities. It worries me, as a professional communicator, that I seem so poor at it. Good wishes, dear good chap.
:) Ah, Andrew, it seems you have been misinterpreting my question. It was not meant to offend. Not at all. Perhaps it was not obvious. :) The peace of the night.
Another wonderful sky to contemplate and try to forget bad business.

DeleteSo, I should not care about war and misery, terror and hypocrisy, because there might be something worse, out there, somewhere?
DeleteMy comment was not a recommendation.

Delete... for, the only safe comments to make on blogs seem to be along the lines of "nice photo", "wow" and "I agree".
