In the Wood

You look at what's happening last night in Sweden*.
Sweden! Who would believe this? Sweden!
We got to keep our woods trump-free.

* A wooden moose got the attention of a lovesick moose bull. It all happened in 79 year old Ove Lindqvist’s garden in Byske outside Skellefteå, northern Sweden. ”I thought it was going to start a fight, instead it humped the wooden moose thrice”, he said. [Afdonbladet]

  1. Snow for us in Scotland today too, but fast melting - a last pathetic attempt by the weather to produce anything like a proper winter, which we have not had for many years now. I am not complaining. Snow in Sweden though last night though (on a fictional film I saw on the telly, which counts as breaking news these days, perhaps)

    1. Oh my!!! Snow in Sweden?! In a fictional film? Who would believe this? In Sweden!
Well, here it's a bit windy, up to 130 km/h in the Harz Mountains.
Winter in Germany today: 1°C on the North Sea Islands, 21°C in the Southwest.
I am telling no fake news.
