    1. Annoyed by a brewery calling a beer "Lancaster Bomber" I began what would become this series. Forget about the beer. This is about books, nothing but books.

    2. No doubt which one, Sue.
      And right you are.
This series began when I stumbled upon a brewery naming one of its beers 'Lancaster Bomber'.
So, from post number two onwards it was about books, nothing but books.

    1. Twice you are right, Mark.
      Sue does prefer the book.
And yes, it obviously is (one of) the (very) books.

    1. And always looking forward to the best to come, dear Mark.
Really interesting what a beer called "Lancaster Bomber" is able to initiate.

  4. Thank you, Sean, I've bookmarked this one on the treasure that is Project Gutenberg - the book not the beer, obv!

    1. Ah, lovely, Lady Pipistrello, and I hope you will not get disappointed reading the Simplicissimus 'on the treasure' Omnium offers a link to.
Moreover I hope you are well and happy despite ...
My good thoughts are with you.

As for the very beer. I had problems to finish it – far too smoky for my taste.
