I saw this video when it was first released and still remain as shocked and disgusted by the callousness as I was then. I feel very sad about the fate of Bradley Manning, a martyr to unrelenting power.
The answer to your question: We all are!And not only in those horrible moments. With sobbing tears and shame!
But then I read about Chelsea Manning, and the few people who understand and admire her.The price to pay to be fully human is high. But some people are willing to pay it. I haven't given up on humanity yet.
Yes, they laughed, Ashley.Susan,I posted it soon after its release, but at the end of the Manning trial thought I ought to do it again.Claude,I (think I) know what you mean. However, this sounds too much like collective guilt. I do not accept this.I do confess, though, that not seldom I do wish the Cheneys and Rumsfelds, the Bushs and Obamas a long-lasting miserable end.Oh, do I need to mention this "pious wish" goes for any despote on this planet, and the lowlifes ensuring their power?
