Jams
My thoughts are with Shirley, his beloved "not-wife",
with his Mum and his Dad,
with Tim and Li,
with his muses.
but most of all
my thoughts are with him.
Does he have enough cheese
to please Mimi,
whilst having a pint of plain
with Sergeant Pluck
and Mr. Nolan?
Will Ted be twining around his legs?
Such a fine friend.
A real character.
Thanks for all, Jams.
Sláinte!
Well said, Sean. I'm missing Jams so much. My heart is still weeping. Sláinte!
ReplyDeleteI "know" your heart does.
Delete"Only the good die young ..."
ReplyDeleteFor the first time I do not agree with you, Francis.
DeleteI do "know" what you mean, though.
A sweet tribute for a very fine man.
ReplyDeleteA fine man Jams was, indeed, Susan.
DeleteAnd for me he still is. :)
Oh, I believe so too, Sean. One day we all shall meet in Arkady.
Delete:)
Ha, let's do it!
DeleteI miss Jams too. He brought so much to my online life.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you use the term "online life", Stan.
DeleteAren't we often procrastinators?
I really thought there would come the day we would meet.
Thank you Sean for your tribute to our dear friend.
ReplyDeleteI thought about him (as I often do) whilst I was on my travels at the weekend. He would have loved the place and would love to see his photos from that place...
I am also reminded that it is his Birthday on Saturday...
Happy Birthday dear Jams, you are missed by all your friends xx
Yes, Saturday will be the day Jams would have become 51. I think he would like us to enjoy an awful nice poetry session. :)
DeleteYes, here's to dear Jams.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Welshcakes.
