What an interesting man - and fine book title. Thank you.
If one takes a look around the world, one might think that Erasmus in the early 16th century was describing homo sapiens sapiens of the early 21st century. A remarkable man indeed.
Un llibre que sembla divertit, per a aquells als qui els agrada la sàtira. ;-)Aferradetes, Sean.
Yes. And when reading it, quite a few contemporaries could recognise themselves. ;-)Aferradetes, Paula.
Haven't read Erasmus since my stint at college. Someday I may have time to go back and learn again.
It was certainly courageous in his day to write as he did. Some of it is universally valid 500 years later.
No l'he llegit. Ho hauré de fer. Sempre m'ha cridat l'atenció aquest Elogi de la follia, però encara no l'he tingut a les mans.
I can imagine the corners of your mouth embarking on quite a few expeditions to your earlobes.
