My Bigger Girl once lived in an apartment where a thistle grew in a pot on the little patio. It hadn't been purposely planted, but she left it to see what would happen.
It grew huge and she spent all of spring and summer watching all the various bugs and creatures make use of it. They are apparently much prized by almost everything except people.

Lovely. Thanks for that, Mimi.
DeleteWell, at least the Scots appreciate the thistle. ;-)

DeleteAbraçades!
Hi Sean - they're good to have around, as are the two-legged ones. Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteWell, certain bipeds can't be far enough away from me. ;-)
DeletePrefereixo aquests cards als de dues potes. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMolt maques les fotos.
Aferradetes, Sean.
Once again, we have the same opinion. ;-)
DeleteGràcies, Paula.
