Cloudscape

I've made a wonderful
Discovery!
A lost world
in the clouds.
But those tears of joy
turn bad in seconds,
for then
I realized.
It's an ever-changing
place,
where I
can never
go.*

  1. As we are ever changing beings I see no reason why we won't be embraced by cloud families some future day. Harry Nillson sang a wonderful version of a song that describes it beautifully.

    1. Ah, living in Germany I do have the pleasure to follow your link but not to watch it. A tiny research let me end at the final episode of "You've got Mail". A lovely film.
As for your first sentence: I do confess, Susan, I am not as optimistic as you are. It's a nice though, though.

  2. It reminds me of my childhood when, lying down on my back in the grass, I would see familiar things and faces in the clouds.

The poem is very nice but so sad. In my next life, my spirit plans to visit new galaxies.

    1. Those were the days, my friend . . . :)

Well, and as for the poem: its writer was wise when choosing to stay anonymous. It's a lousy one. Just read it again..
