Your skies are all so lovely, however... I am wondering if it is pollution from the Rhur that is making them so dramatically and deeply pretty. Or am I out of date (and out of position)? We don't get such colours coming through the clear skies over the Atlantic to our West, although we do get delicate pinks and yellows.

ReplyDeleteHm, one reason might be we're in the midlands, and thus the sea is quite far away. The other day sunset offered a rhapsody in blue and yellow.
DeleteThat is a glorious colour :-)
ReplyDelete. . . and one of quite surprising an intensity.
DeleteThe sky is splendid
ReplyDeleteanywhere but yours would win
best colour prize. Why?
Perhaps because it is your decision? :)
DeleteWe also get pastels rather than the wonderfully intense skyscapes you capture so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLike Andrew you are living close to the Atlantic. This might be one reason.
DeleteAnother look, rewarded
ReplyDeleteHopefully there will be some more, dear Andrew.
