We get more of these big bulging clouds these days too (by which I mean over the past few years). Something is changing. More water in the atmosphere arriving from the Atlantic for me, I expect.
The other day (by which I do not mean years ago:) I heard there's a model giving reason to think that clouds instead of retarding the 'global warming' are fueling it. Well, . . .
and I've heard there's already geoengineering taking place. I haven't seen them here, but there were often massive contrail plumes over Portland. In honesty, I'm not sure what to think of the whole thing.
I did not take the time to dive deep into this very topic, thus, to be on the safe side, I do just write what I'd write when it came to any supernatural (not)beings: I am agnostic. :)
