Ah now, if I may split a hair in four, as seems appropriate here, the sun and Erde do actually mutually orbit around their mutual centre of mass, rather than one orbiting around the other, although it is true that centre of mass is very near the centre of the sun (obviously); despite everything my sloppy self may have uttered on this point previously; and were I to split the hairs even more finely there would be further refinements to be made (obviously). Still, they are lovely photos.
Wow. What planet are you on?
ReplyDeleteI was taught it's called Erde.
DeleteA magnificent progression.
ReplyDeleteBetween the first and the third photograph taken, we made but approximately 14,400 km on our orbit around the sun, I am taught.
