Literature Heaven opened

  1. While my dad always loved Bob (our first dog was called Dylan, in honour) I've never been that moved. Sure, I admire the spirit, the lyrics, the thoughts, but it never meant that much to me.

To compound the cynicism. I thought the Nobel prize was for current (or at least recent) work, not as a lifetime achievement award?

Still, if any song writer deserves the award it's.... LEONARD COHEN! *ahem* bob dylan...

    1. Once again we are of one opinion.
The Nobel Prize in Literature for 2053 might be awarded to Lady Gaga.
"for having created new poetic expressions within the great American fashion tradition".
P.S. Are you sure your first dog was not named Dylan in honour of Dylan Thomas? :)

  2. I so totally agree with both of you.
Specially the Dylan: "Do not go gentle into that good night....."
