I had a fine walk.
No golfers around.

  1. I may play that course some day. It is on my list (for when my work may take me to do an interview at Hannover University, which could happen... possibly, although not probably).

    1. Of course I would need a trusty caddy to carry my clubs (possibly with donkey...). Hmm.

    2. And I thought for you not only possibly but probably interviews in Göttingen would be more interesting. If only I think of Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry ...
In the meantime I'd try to get a permission for the donkey.

    3. Both fine places. Both perhaps. It could happen, but a bottle of your malt may be damaged in a QuiScottish raid. Beware.

    4. We might even enjoy a tiny 'Whiskey Tasting', organised by our East Frisian*: 6 exquisite Malts, some fine beers and good talks. :)

*Afterwards we might damage another bottle of malt. :)

    5. "Whiskey" (ie Irish) or Whisky (Scottish), or both. A touch of Bourbon is OK too.

  2. Okay, an excuse for my favourite (and only) golf joke:

Four retired men play golf together once a week for many years. One day on 16th hole that runs along side the highway, a funeral procession drives by. One man says to the others, "Stop and remove your hats, show some respect."

Afterward, one of the other men asked him what got into him. "I have never seen you show anybody any respect."

The first man replied: "I was married to her for 65 years."
