Brave little Sisyphos

More than 600 times a day
parent birds are feeding their siblings,
And if one parent is being killed?
I do so admire "my" little Sisyphos
for what he is doing,
since Lady Redstart got missed.
[All I found one morning was a flight feather.]
So much I'd like to help him.
Fixed a birdhouse on the balustrade,
bought mealworms to make his life easier,
but so far the little widower does not accept help.
A hunter for life.
May he succeed!

  1. Birds are a delight.

Some of my garden birds have their challenges.

    1. This afternoon two siblings made their first flight attempts – it worked. Unfortunately not my camera.
