    1. For this and that reason, it has turned out that, with relatively few exceptions, I prefer short stories to novels.

  4. There are more books in the world than I will ever be able to get to, and in some ways it's exciting and in some ways it makes me sad.

    1. Don't be sad, Mimi. No one can read all books in the world. Especially since there's a lot of rubbish out there, as not only my daughter knows, who owns a wonderful bookshop. All the more reason for me to be grateful that I've only bought two books in my life that weren't worth the money. The other 4,000 or so I chose myself. ;-)
