Yes, Hilary, one can't read everything. The more I am glad that on my wonderful journey through world literature, fortunately I arrived in Catalonia some time ago.
Don't be sad, Mimi. No one can read all books in the world. Especially since there's a lot of rubbish out there, as not only my daughter knows, who owns a wonderful bookshop. All the more reason for me to be grateful that I've only bought two books in my life that weren't worth the money. The other 4,000 or so I chose myself. ;-)
Short stories are about my reading speed at the moment - or familiar favourites.

There are more books in the world than I will ever be able to get to, and in some ways it's exciting and in some ways it makes me sad.
