Friday is Skyday

Days are getting grey, nights frosty.
and "everywhere" harvested sugar beets ...
... are waiting to be transported to the factory.

  1. Where you are, it's sugar beets, here, it's sugar cane. There's even a field by the university, the agriculture department experiments with growing and harvesting methods.

    1. Interesting, Mimi. I'm not sure, but I think the beet is less sensitive than sugar cane.

    1. Between October and April, the sugar beet factory operates at full capacity, working three shifts round the clock. And as for the cold: lucky are those who can heat their homes.
