Aquest és un autor que he llegit molt poc (Últimas tardes con Teresa, només) i que ja no llegiré més. Per un detall que pot semblat tan insignificant com el del meu últim post, però per a mi és prou important com per a preferir triar altres autors. N'hi ha molts i no me'ls acabaré!

In that case, this utterly hilarious satire on Barcelona’s bourgeoisie – in which, incidentally, with great linguistic wit he takes an ironic stance on Catalan language policy – really wouldn’t be your cup of tea. Exactament com dius. Sabia que ho endevinaries facilment. Prefereixo llegir per gaudir, evidentment. Hi ha infinits autors i llibres que prefereixo. Abraçades
Your words remind me of a visit to a Welsh bookshop. As I looked around, I heard English-speaking customers ask the same question several times, and each time the shop assistants shrugged their shoulders to indicate they didn’t understand. The customers left the shop empty-handed. Then I went to the till with five books by Dylan Thomas, paid, thanked them for their kindness and finally asked why they understood my English. One of the two shop assistants smiled and said, “You’re not English.” Abraçades.
