Same Procedure as every Year

If counted well the Germans today can/could watch Dinner for one (The 90th birthday) - history here - 18 times at different times on various TV-channels, and aside from the original in various German dialects.
Very strange folks, the Germans.
Well, judge for yourself.

Tiny tip-off: Be absolutely determined not to laugh.

  1. Great to see you back, Sean, und einen guten Rutsch!

    ("... I'll kill that cat! ...)

  2. ... und einen guten Rutsch für Dich und Deine Lieben, Francis.
Thanks so much for your good wishes.

    Haha, you'll kill that cat?!

    better: yes. Good: no.
I hope when health for 2011 is going to get distributed, both, you and I will happen to stand in the first row, for a change.

  3. "I'll kill that cat!"

Said by James in his last toast as Mr. Winterbottom, when (at this stage thoroughly sozzled) he mistakenly drinks from the flower vase.

  4. Great to know that you're better, Sean, although not completely well yet.

This delightful sketch is what I needed to watch this evening. Is the gentleman for hire? I truly could use a manservant like him for my one-person-only New Year's Eve party.

  5. Haha, after watching this at least once each New Year's Eve since 1967 or so, how couldn't I know, Francis?
I asked 'cause I was wondering whether you'd already started to empty the flower vases. :)
    Sláinte, my friend.

... sugar in the morning ... you're looking younger than ever; ... younger than ever ...

  6. Hahaha! Sean...This is killing me! The year is starting well....

  7. And now, Claude,
imagine your new year has not even started, yet ...
... the best is to come ... :)

  8. You mean we're not there yet? I'm confused...À ta santé! Cheers!

  9. Claude,
two hours plus x minutes to come (for you), hm?
    Then, however ... then ... :)

  10. Of course!!!!! Thanks!:) I forgot where I was....I'm getting there!

  11. Glad you a feeling better :-) Happy New Year to you.

This video makes me laugh every time :-)

  12. i think it was yesterday morning on my way to the office when i remembered this particular video you published last year, and wondered if you published it this year, too.

then, i sort of didnt want to check because -wow- a whole year has already past?

anyways, it is good to see it again. wish you a great new year. and i hope you are much better now.

  13. Claude,
... not to confuse: meanwhile - only 56 days later - we are or at least ought to be there.
    À ta santé! :)

well, 56 days later I know I was exaggerating that very night.
Feeling better does not necessarily mean to be well, hm?

As for this video being posted on December 31, 2011: 'I'll do my very best'. :)

thank you very much for your good wishes!
    It's amazing, isn't it?
Not flowing time is; it's flying.
