Claude, the photo was taken at high noon, and the camera's lense did not catch see what my eyes saw.
Jams, no snow storm, fortunately. But icy winds. My hands felt happy to be back in the pockets after this quick shot.
Hans, No doubt you do. I'd also prefer 21°C to minus 9°C. However: Rather I do enjoy minus 9°C in my humble village than 21°C in Istanbul. But that's just me. :)
Stan, thank you. Exactly my thoughts / feeling. And: Your words will put my hands in a conciliary mood. :)
Spectacular! I love the sky rising from the dark bareness of the trees, and the light emerging through the grayness of the clouds.
ReplyDeleteThat is another ominous lookig sky. Snow r storms?
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteBut I prefer these days the Blue skies of Istanbul, with a bright sun and temperatures of 21 degrees celcius. Yeah, life is good.)
A lovely scene, Sean. The silhouette of branches against the sky is a deep and simple pleasure.
