although it would trap you and wind you up in its web and eat you, if it got the chance...
Great is my naivety, Andrew, and so is my heart. :)
I have an irrational fear of spiders and if I see one in the house I can't leave it to roam around...A week ago when I was going to bed I spotted an extremely large one on the floor and Mr C had retired early...And I didn't want to wake him...I partially conquered my fear (phobia) and placed a glass over the spider. Then I sent Mr C a text for him to see in the morning:Will you please rescue the spider who is residing in his glass hotel between the bathroom and the stairs and place him in more suitable accommodation in the garden. He saw the glass before he saw my text and just for a moment he wondered on the strange placing of an upside glass. Then the spider was repatriated to the garden ;-)
No doubt Mr. C. is your hero like I am the hero of Mrs. J. and the former Miss J.. :)
