Der Weg ist das Ziel

A good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.

  1. It should always be about enjoying the journey as arrivals are never guaranteed.

  2. Not many travelers in the world. Mostly goers.....going somewhere, meeting someone.

    1. . . . or just passing . . . and missing . . . a lot.

  3. The Weg probably is the Ziel, but unfortunately I have no idea what either is... though I am guessing maybe the journey or the path is the reason. I could try Google Translate but based on past experience it would probably say it means The Wok is the Zebra, or something like that.

  4. Literary it means: The path is the aim / goal.
Insofar, "The Wok is the Zebra, or something like that" is a fine path on the way of trying to translate "Der Weg ist das Ziel".
