Seizing the Day

't was a fine day for drying all kind of "things".

  1. Pocket linings pulled out to speed evaporation... How fastidious.

And the greeny-yellowy guy looks like he's enjoying hanging upside down.

    1. Oh, would trousers in Scotland not being washed on their 'left-side', as it's being called in German?

Anyway, I can assure you, dear Andrew, that not only the greeny yellowy guy's enjoying hanging upside down. :)

    2. Hmmm... So you mean the entire trousers have been turned inside out to wash? I misviewed. Nope, we don't do that so far as I know (not that I know much about such things, actually). Vorsprung durch vashing technik?

    3. Most of the muck I get on my noble breeks (as we say in Scotland) is on the outside... My inner garments may be another matter. But Dulcinea is the expert on such things. I am sure she loves dealing with my gallanty soiled garmentry.

    4. Well, as long as there is no muck on trousers, by turning them inside out the outside garment is somehow 'protected' against wearing out to soon.
[Lousy English I know, but you will understand, anyway, eh :)]

  2. Oh dear, I appear to have stumbled upon a men doing laundry conversation. I'll get my husband - he's the expert around here..
I'm back. He says you're right and that t-shirts as well as trous should always be washed inside out.

    2. But the outside that most needs a wash doesn't get such a good wash... Hmm... Such a dilemma...

    3. Dulcinea has been consulted and she does sweetly say: "Jeans are supposed to be washed inside out but not most other kinds". And of course the Don is far too noble to ever consider attiring himself in jeans. Ugh!

    4. According to which Seanso Pansa says, in order to not fuel the discussion: 'To each her / his own (washing rituals)'. :)
