Friday is Skyday

  1. No sign of my Cloud 14 there. Actually my Cloud 14 has receded somewhat when I was meant to be approaching it steadily. Never mind, I'll get there (or bust), and of course you have no idea what I am talking about, obviously, but I like to (or perhaps am best to) be enigmatic sometimes, obviously; and this will have to be my last blog activity anywhere - posts or comments, universe-wide - until I reach Cloud 14 (or bust)... I hope to return in a less enigmatic mood, sometime hopefully not to far away.

    1. You are obviously not going to become a certain president's chief advisor nor commander on the "Gerald Ford". That leaves but one possibility.
Not to jeopardise your quest, I won't mention it here, though. It's enough that you and I know.
May the hop be with you.

    2. I assure you squire, that it is highly, nay certainly, unlikely that you know; but the man has sent a missive by carrier pigeon to assure me that he is now about one third there and not yet bust. I did declare that this report may break his enigmatic silence but he did declare that a message from me is not a message from him, obviously. Hmm... Cuckoo signing in Cuckooburra tree?

    3. Yes, signing, no typo from an anonymous Don

    4. Dear signing anonymous Don.
What a pity you did not know of a wormhole enabling you to deliver the man's – as you choose to call my dear friend Andrew – missive personally. I might have felt inclined to share a Belhaven Black and a wee dram of 'Big Peat', a fine Islay Blended Malt, produced only in a small batch.
But don't worry. I shall drink yours for you. :)
So relieving to know that your windmillish quest to valorously fight colon and right parenthesis wherever you'd stumble upon has ended.
As for your message which is none of him: I am pleased to read that my dear friend Andrew is on his way from Cloud four to Cloud five on his quest that I by no means would jeopardise by broadcasting its aim to the whole world.
May hop and Malt be with him.

  3. Your sky is always so eloquent. I think it knows that, on Friday, you will share it with the world.

As for me, I'll never go higher than Cloud 13.

You may replace Johnny by Sean. :)
