Put in Highest Alert!!

Omnium puts its vocabulary on highest alert.

  1. Was this in response to any unfriendly statements I, or others made? Do you realise that if you use disturbing or even just ungrammatical vocabulary you can expect others to react in a similar manner towards you? The stern voice of a noble friend nearby just stirred himself to ask, "Is he even threatening smileys?"

    1. Dear Andrew, Don QuiScottie and others:
I put in Omnium's deterrence forces on "special alert". That's all.
The announcement does not mean I intend to use the weapons.
How's your suprachiasmatic nucleus doing, these days?

    1. I believe Sean is threatening much worse than mere punctuation marks, eh... Mark. My intelligence suggests he has an arsenal of Vocabulary of Mass Destruction that could cause widespread devastation to propriety and good taste. Dare he use it? Would others respond in kind? A Blogworld on a precipice.

  3. Double exclamation points! What does this mean?? Do I sense a spray of Capital Letters at the threshold of this kingdom?

    1. Nah, Lady Pipistrello, there's no spray of La Contessa to be found.
Instead you could find a lot of anger ... and sadness.
