Eilean Donan Castle ... around half past four in the morning, when the pub had closed its doors. * Memories of morning freshness on a very hot day 27 years later. ;-)
Un xic fantasmagòric amb aquesta boira i els reflexes tan ben copsats. No crec que necessitis una càmera més bona, els teus ulls ho van fer molt bé. ;-) Aferradetes, Sean.
"Of course", my Scotland diary from 1998 isn't where it should be. ;-) But I'm pretty sure it was ‘The Clachan.’ Do you remember its simple interior from back then, Mark? I have a photo of myself playing darts in front of me, taken with a pinhole camera by a colleague I met that evening. I could send it to you.
I can imagine you have a good many good memories associated with this.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, I have, Mimi. And I wish I had a better camera at hand.

ReplyDeleteAferradetes, Sean.
It was even more fascinating in reality, with the swirling wisps of fog and all the reflections.
DeleteThanks for the compliment, Paula.
Petonets.
Records que refesquen una mica, que ja ens convé!
ReplyDeleteM'encanta aeust paisatge misteriós.
Una abraçada, Sean!
Scotland has fascinating landscapes ... and much, much more to offer. ... And: It is not that "blood hot" in August. ;-)
DeleteAbraçades, Carme!
Eilean Donan!!! Do you perchance recall the pub Sean?
