Pretty cool it was

Eilean Donan Castle ...
around half past four in the morning,
when the pub had closed its doors.

Memories of morning freshness
on a very hot day 27 years later. ;-)

    1. Indeed, I have, Mimi. And I wish I had a better camera at hand.

  2. Un xic fantasmagòric amb aquesta boira i els reflexes tan ben copsats. No crec que necessitis una càmera més bona, els teus ulls ho van fer molt bé. ;-)
    Aferradetes, Sean.

    1. It was even more fascinating in reality, with the swirling wisps of fog and all the reflections.
      Thanks for the compliment, Paula.

    1. Scotland has fascinating landscapes ... and much, much more to offer. ... And: It is not that "blood hot" in August. ;-)
      Abraçades, Carme!

    1. "Of course", my Scotland diary from 1998 isn't where it should be. ;-)
But I'm pretty sure it was ‘The Clachan.’
Do you remember its simple interior from back then, Mark?
I have a photo of myself playing darts in front of me, taken with a pinhole camera by a colleague I met that evening. I could send it to you.
