... and Peace on Earth A child's born. Its 'cross': malnutrition. About 10,000 times a day. So Merry Christmas then, and peace on Earth. And after the mass enjoy the masses on your table. Sumptuous meals, a Lucullan feast. After all, (billions of) individuals can't change the world, can they? May the Lord care for the poor souls! Fucking hypocrites! |

Sî! Tots som hipòcrites. És ben cert.
ReplyDeleteCom que no sabem què fer, no fem res.
Som un bon desastre.
Una abraçada
Yes, I think my Christmas sarcasm is also an expression of helplessness.
DeleteUna abraçada, Carme.
Not offended at all. It's our job, each of us, to do everything we can to help others. I will continue to do so, and to celebrate holidays, and to use my vote in ways that count and donate money in places where it helps.
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Mimi. Like Paula and Carme you were not "meant" anyway. ;-)
DeleteIt's only that I am often sad, when looking around ...
Hi Sean - expression most of us don't say, though feel ... and yes feel sad when I look at the wider world. Not good - but cheers - Hilary
ReplyDeleteI don't have much time left for diplomacy, dear Hilary. ;-)
