Taken "on the road"
eight o'clock in the morning
after a wedding.

Passing the willow:
Breakfast rolls and croissants
for the day after.

Under the hazel
I was pondering about
Cages of Freedom

Whilst she is sleeping
A moonlit dreamscape her face.
Watching her in awe

Her beauty makes me breathless.
Her love is my oxygen.

August beginning, anyway.


Had I been mowing this haiku would not exist nor would the daisies.

Where the astrophysicist and Miss J.
are going to say "Yes".
Afterwards Miss J. will be Mrs. W..

a nice little meal,
served with (selfmade) gnocchi.
