Pondering about this and that, about an hour ago when watching the stars, out of the blue I heard myself softly whistling a melody. On and on. Must have once been a catchy song. Who sung it?
Five minutes ago I remembered.
So, having at least one problem solved, I may put my head on the pillow.
The peace of the night.
Merci, Miriam Makeba
It leaves me breathless...
ReplyDeleteMArvellous stuff. Sadly when I ahve meoldies clogging up my brain they tend to be irritaing ones from lousy adverts or tinny pop detritus!
ReplyDeleteShe is always a treat. Thanks Sean.

ReplyDeleteSean, you must be an excellent whistler if you can whistle that melody.
Bravo!

Dear all,
ReplyDeleteplease forgive I am (presently) not very good at answering comments, visiting (and commenting), and blogging.
Glad you liked what you heared.
I was not aware of the lyrics when whistling it. (I think the German version is completely different).
Ardent,
sensible ears would probably call me a lousy whistler, but yes: I can whistle it. :)
Welshcakes,
sei sempre nel mio cuore. :)
Hans,
so you are getting through to youtube, by now?! Good.
I do hopefully not have to worry that you could not sleep, hm?
All the best, my friend.
