Watching this very sentinel ...
made me feel good, safe and ... thankful.

  5. He looks very much like my friend the blackbird who sings to me every night as I leave work :-)

  6. A little bird of chirrupping cheerfulness sent out to make you happy.

  7. I play a game with my local birds of trying to mimic their birdsong with my whistles. Some of them clearly listen and respond (especially the singing blackbirds). Sometimes I swear they even end up trying to mimic me. I fear I may be inviting them to mate with me, but thus far it has only been sweet singing exchanged at a distance.

  8. The bird undoubtedly has a plan, Jams.

    Lady Limoncello,
please do tell this Jams O'Donnell Esquire.

    Ashley,
... and free to fly ...

    Cherry,
and in the morning, your bird might sit on a certain antenna in Milan to wish good morning to a certain poet. :)

    Don QuiScottie,
    yes. ...

    Andrew,
ha ha, dear friend, seems we're playing similar, if not the same games.
