Brave little birds

In early May they started to build.
Although most material fell
or was blown down by the wind,
they did not give up,
which is why I called them
Ms and Mr Sisyphos.
But finally they made it.
By now
Lady Redstart

and Mr Redstart are feeding their offspring.

  1. Bravo little birds! It was tough but, at least in Seanhenge, they'll get plenty of worms for the little ones. Not like in Asphalt City.

    1. I like that metapher: 'Asphalt City'.
Yes, there are currently robins, black redstarts, wagtails, chiffchaffs, blackbirds, different tits, starlings, goldfinchs, nuthatchs, sparrows and some more living in and around Seanhenge.
I am enjoying wonderful concerts every day.

    2. Ah, at QuiScottie Quastle it is Rooks, Jackdaws, Magpies, Wood Pigeon, Blackbirds, Dunnocks, Swifts, Swallows a Woodpecker, unidentified colourful Finches and Tits and at least one magnificent Heron - surviving dinosaurs all (oh and the bats at dusk). Awesome aviators, all fed by the seeds cast by Dulcinea

    3. Oh yes, woodpeckers, magpies, pigeons, crows. And they are eating us literally the hair off our heads (German idiom, if correctly translated).
      Kind regards to Dulcinea.
