It is always reading time. My love of it is one of the very best gifts that my parents gave me - and how lovely to see this tradition continued.
Indeed, Sue, it is always reading time.Their grandfather's library containing a few thousand books, their mother running the local bookshop gives cause to hope the tradition will be continued.
Precious time with your children. Better than TV I think because you can put some of yourself into it.
"Precious" is the right word, Mark. Of course, TV has its own fascination – here I confess that I, myself, have become a fan of "Shaun the sheep" ;-) –, but they enjoy all advantages of a life in a village and if during the day there was no reading time vis-à-vis at their grandparents, at least no day ends without a good night story.
