  1. Third and fourth times were also a fail. Bad words to and about blogger were said.
Blessed blogger refused to accept my last comment so I am trying again.
This is yet another author I don't know but the night sky DOES give me solace and heart balm.
I have finally started A Manual for Cleaning Women. Thank

    1. Blessed be your patience, Sue, and all bad words are forgiven.
As far as I know and to my surprise, Dževad Karahasan's work is not translated into English. A fascinating personality and a remarkable writer.
Hope you will have a good time with Lucia Berlin. Enjoy!

    2. The lack of translation is odd, given that my minor efforts have been translated into 11 languages (the Chinese ones being my favourite). Perhaps some English publisher needs a nudge. As for me, I need a beer.

    3. It looks 'odd' the more when you have a look at the German wikepedia entry. Drink!

  2. Goodness me, how many languages are you familiar with? poemblogtwentyfour.blogspot.com has gone live by the way. Only in English at the moment.

    1. Rudimentally with a few, but fluently I am able to speak, read and write but German.
And now I am heading over to read your latest poems.
