  1. I do hope he got his wish and that his books were not published posthumously (a word I find very hard to pronounce).

    1. What depends an Irish edition, his wish in 1928 got fulfilled. The English translation (Island Cross-Talk) was first published in 1986.

  2. I looked him up. His Great Blasket Island home sounds not unlike Father Ted's Craggy island.
