Unfortunately, I had only my mobile at hand. Yes it's a heron. Apparently a loner. Owners of ornamental ponds with fish stocking (coys, goldfish etc) and our local trout farmer are not happy with him.
També m'agrada la "nostra" garsa. Però tampoc tinc un estany de peixos. ;-) / I like "our" heron too. But I don't have a fish pond either. Aferradetes, Paula
Stunning capture! Did you take it? Is it a Heron?

DeleteHe knows where the easy living is, doesn't he.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly does, although I can imagine it is getting more difficult for him. A neighbour told me that he would no longer set fish to his pond.
DeleteGreat capture. Growing up it was our cats that raided people's fishponds. And brought their tropies home and laid them on the front door mat.
ReplyDeleteSame here, Sue. For young cats in the neighbourhood.
DeleteNo n'he vist cap mai en viu, però sempre m'han agradat.
ReplyDeleteAferradetes, Sean.

He's accepted the mission and is now off to complete it. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI wish him luck. The trout farmer tries to keep him away with nets. But who knows?
DeleteThank you, Bill.
