    1. The rose has a two-metre-long stem, so fortunately I didn't have to bend down ;-)

    1. Some roses are still in bloom, Sue, but the first harbingers of autumn are in sight.

    1. I can imagine that the rose, like us and our rain barrels, is waiting for a heavenly refreshment. But it hasn't rained today either, Carme. Instead, it was bright blue skies and sunshine in the afternoon - perfect children's birthday weather ;-)

    2. Que bé, per l'aniversari dels nens! Me n'alegro molt que hagi pogut celebrar-se amb sol i el cel blau.

Ho deia per un refrany que tenim en català: Bassetes al cel, pastetes a la terra.

Aquests núvols petits i rodons semblen bassals, bassals petits (bassetes) i pastetes, vols dir fang, terra mullada.

Però els refranys no sempre funcionen. En aquest, cas, per sort!

    3. Ah, Carme, I took my intention for the deed.
But now: Thanks for your explanation.
Yes, we were lucky to enjoy the perhaps last summer days. Today the rain you thought to come on Friday poured down. Our rain barrels are filled again.
      Abraçades.

    1. This very rose is always an attractive motif in front of a changing sky.

    2. Ho deia perquè els niguls semblen petits pètals, com si les roses es reflectissin al cel. ;-)

    1. I saw this morning sky through the window and knew from which spot in the garden I would photograph it ;-)
