Light and Colour (Goethe's Theory) The Morning after the Deluge Moses Writing the Book of Genesis - William Turner - a Relats conjunts |
Moses? Writing the Book of Genesis? The Morning after the deluge?
Ha!
Turner 181 years ago but anticipated a humble villager sitting in a world full of war & terror, severely emptied of love and empathy; a world of hatred, extreme stupidity, selfishness and I! I! I!
Knowing that he would not be able to change everything this humble villager would not write the Book of any Genesis but just write down a tiny dream:
All machos of planet Earth, including all Taliban and the King of Saudi Arabia, his complete entourage including judges and clergy being sent from the desert into devils' kitchen where they are getting preferential treatment: Heaviest swearboarding which would not end before these ... hm ... these "gentlemen" would promise with immediate effect to veil their faces up til infinity and silently walk four steps behind their wives whilst lugging the shopping bags.
ReplyDeleteUn bon relat. Felicitats!
Thank you, Mc! Unfortunately, the likelihood of this dream becoming reality is close to zero.
DeleteI would already be happy if, for example, no more girls in Anatolia were buried alive in the chicken garden by their father and uncle because they were chatting with boys at the bus stop.
A dream I would love to see.
ReplyDeleteImagine it, Sue. Imagine! ... Hilarious, eh?
ReplyDeleteBen vist, Sean.👌
Unlike the villager himself his dream is not humble, of course. He is therefore grateful that at least dreaming is not yet forbidden ;-)
DeleteHe, he, he...
ReplyDeleteMolt bon relat! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ah, you're right, Carme! It would be marvellous to see the "gentlemen's" faces as they silently carry the shopping bags four steps behind their wives. ;-)
DeleteMen wouldn't be able to walk quietly, they would be complaining out loud every step of the way. :)
ReplyDelete;-) Very likely, Bill. However, the "gentlemen" would have to get used to the new law. After all, chatting, even laughing, is just as forbidden as complaining and moaning, especially in public.
DeleteIf Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was right, "the moral arc of the Universe is long but it bends toward justice," then someday, somehow, they will get theirs.
ReplyDeleteYeah! ;-) I have a dream ...
