The Three Wishes

  1. I do love a happy ending... and there still were a load of sausages!

  2. It's a charming tale. And the music is so lovely.

You're funny, Jams. I had not even noticed!

  3. We should always be careful what we wish for. At least this one had a happy ending :-)

  4. This was a much nicer ending to the story than the one I'd remembered. The secret to happiness is indeed seeing youth in one another and avoiding quarrels. I'm not sure how to arrange for the health part.

  5. From 1955 I see, the year I was born. And did those who wished for me get what they wanted. Sadly no, actually, not quite, not really close... My fault or theirs? Oh... now I have made myself feel quite sad.

  6. It's a fairy tale. It has nothing at all to do with life. What's the point of living if all is done for you? I would not have wanted those wishes to come true for me. Well...maybe the sausages! (because I'm hungry right now, and I WISH someone would put a nice meal in front of me...)

  8. Jams,
an El Dorado of sausages it was. When having breakfast in Donegal Town I would not eat more than six.
Anyway, I am lucky Mrs. J. does not like sausages.

    Claude,
glad you enjoyed tale and music. Hopefully the animation, too?

    CherryPie,
certainly we would not hundred percent happy, happened all our dreams to come true. :)

    Susan,
I do still wonder if your hermit became 501 ...?

    Andrew,
    don't worry, be happy.

    Claude,
    voilá ...

    Bertus,
I knew you would like it, like you do obviously know I'd feed roses and lilies to a unicorn in my garden.

  9. I knew you were feeding roses and lilies to a unicorn in your garden, you lucky bastard, while i am just feeding leafs to my boringly common and plain okapi (it doesn't even have golden horns...).
