Earth apples

Getting curious I dug up the first potatoes.
Looks as if we're going to have a fine harvest.

    1. Aardappels and Erdäpfel. Aren't Dutch and Deutsch beautiful languages, Bertus?! :)

    1. Yes. It's just wonderful whenever we wish to have potatoes to go in the garden and dig some up.

  3. We've planted three sorts of potatoes. "Rosara" is an early one [early to harvest, that is], red-skinned with yellow flesh, waxy and tasty.

  4. Looks like a Franceline... my favorite patatoe.

    1. Ah, Dauw, it is a Rosara, not a Franceline. They do, indeed, look similar, however, Franceline is a floury potato while Rosara is a waxy one.
