Beers & Books III

An Ian McEwan
would have been fitting, too.
But then a spell was put upon me.

  1. McEwan's was originally entirely brewed in my home town of Edinburgh, the Fountainbridge area generally reeked of the brewery (pleasantly to me), but I have never tried the Levy. I am in a pleasant beer rut, on the Innis & Gunn Original again, which is mighty fine to me original again. (And I thought of commenting on "Teta" but words failed me, while just over my shoulder I heard the Don mutter "Seanso!")

    1. Ah, forgive the unwanted repetition of "original". Blame the beer reaching my fingers.

    2. Recently when I made sure "You don't even have to buy anything; a generous donation would do..." you asked me to work on my marketing approach.
Of course, I do know you are a Scotsman. The more surprised I am that you would feel mighty fine with Innis & Gunn's high price strategy. ;-)
As for "Teta", the Don's muttering and the words failing you: I thought it was obvious I posted this almost five hundred years old poem because of its excellent recitation.
So, what does his muttering tell me about the Don?

    3. A mere £3 for a big 660ml bottle of 6.6% wonderfulness... (or £1.50 for a 330 ml bottle, but then I would buy two...). Cheap as chips, as we say.

    4. I did not comprehend one word of the words, Seanso (well, perhaps just one).

  2. Books I love - across genres. Photography fascinates me.
    Beer? Count me out.
