Young sparrows at Seanhenge

Two young sparrows:
What's that?
Three young sparrows:
Perhaps digestable?

Six young sparrows:
Yummie!
In the meantime
some adults help themselves
in the nearby apple tree ...

... and the other restaurant,

whilst this tit enjoys
not being disturbed.

  1. I envy you your sparrows. Over the last couple of years ours have almost disapeared. Thanks for sharing their visits to you.

    1. Countrywide, here, too, every year fewer birds are counted; sparrows inclusive. We do notice that, too. However, in one cherry laurel alone I suppose about 40 sparrows having their habitat, here.
Unfortunately there are young cats in the neighbourhood who are chasing. Often successfully.

  3. We have a family of sparrows in our garden. They are far to quick to allow me to photograph them :-)

    1. Well, not always. But yes, it's nice now and then to watch the little fellows.
