Lewis Grassic Gibbon's "Sunset Song" is certainly among my favourites. I can't and won't commit to one number one, though, Mark. There are so many wonderful books. I would even find it difficult to decide on my 100 favourite books in no particular order. Maybe I'll give it a try next year. As I still don't have your email address, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a Happy New Year Thank you for your friendship, dear Mark.
It's a special book, Bill. Highly recommended. Shari and you will devour it. Thanks for your good wishes. Unlike people in neighbour villages we are lucky, so far. No water in our cellar.
Thank you. Some day when I am feeling strong I will track this one down.
ReplyDeleteThis very book is certainly amongst my top hundred, Sue.
DeleteHave you got a number one book Sean?

You should have it Sean. You've emailed me before. I got in trouble with my dear wife for posting it on social media🤐
DeleteUff, and I wrote on July 3rd,"[...] the grey cells still function pretty well, though, as far as I can judge, [...]" ;-)
DeleteInteressant història vista des d'un punt burlesc i grotesc.
ReplyDeleteBon any, Sean!.
Aferradetes.
I am glad this book has been written.
DeleteAferradetes, Paula.
