Time to come out. ;-) I was standing outside his literature café with the owner and mentioned that ‘Irish’ fascinated me, but that I was already having problems with the alphabet. He smiled mildly and said: 'Well, it takes a certain intelligence to learn Irish. Great, eh? ;-)
Felicitacions a la teva filla i als teus néts... escritura i pronunciació... i què vol dir, també? ;-) Un bon galimaties per a nosaltres que fem servir consonant i vocal juntes, com a molt dues consonants o vocals juntes. Hugs, Sean.
;-))) Well then, here we go: St. Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St. Tysilio near the red cave. ;-) Or perhaps in Català: L'església de Santa Maria al fons de l'avellaner blanc prop d'un remolí ràpid i l'església de Sant Tisilio prop de la cova vermella. Infinites aferradetes! ;-)
Hi Sean - Wales is a fascinating country to visit and tour around - I've been a few times, but definitely could go again. St Tysoi - love the red sandstone church. Languages - no thanks ... haven't managed any, but can grasp a few words on occasions - not Welsh, nor Cornish ... French, Latin, German perhaps ... cheers Hilary
I'm sure Wales is beautiful and I'd love to go, but no, I won't be learning the language any time soon.
ReplyDeleteWhich makes two of us, Mimi. ;-)
