If counted well the Germans today can/could watch Dinner for one (The 90th Birthday) - history here - 16 times at different times on various TV-channels, and aside from the original in various German dialects inclusive a Swiss version.
Very strange folks, the Germans.
Well, judge for yourself.
Tiny tip-off: Be absolutely determined not to laugh.
I love it, and would miss it terribly if you didn't post it. Although it always reminds me how much I would need a butler.
ReplyDeleteBonne Année, dear Sean. Wishing you light and laughter in 2012! De tout coeur.:)
Well there you go. Here's hoping (optimistically) that 2013 will be marginally less shit that 2011. I know it's a big ask
ReplyDeleteIt is impossible not to laugh.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours :-)
Once you are 90, Claude,
ReplyDeleteyou will get your butler, no doubt. :)
And Mr. Winterbottom for many decades will say: 'Sugar in the morning! .... You're looking than ever ... younger than ever ...'
Jams,
let's first make the best of 2012, my friend, and Don QuiScottie might suggest.
CherryPie,
where has your willpower disappeared to? :)
Happy New Year.
I have always struggled to maintain willpower when laughter is concerned ;-)
